The Lake Gregory Boathouse is your one-stop shop for lake fun year-round. Large groups can spend leisurely time on the lake in an electric-power 9-seat covered ‘Duffy’ boat. Individuals and couples can rent kayaks, canoes, inflatable stand-up paddle boards, row boats, paddle boats, and aqua-cycles.

SWIM BEACHES, WATERSLIDES, INFLATABLE WATER PARK AND SPLASH PAD

The water park and swim beaches are open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Bring your own beach set up or rent a cabana for the day! Right on the beach, the Lakeside Grill serves up burgers, fries, snacks and drinks. 

Lake Gregory is regularly stocked from its Sierra Nevada suppliers during the spring and summer months with rainbow trout, exotic lightning trout and bass. Fishing passes are available online, at the boathouse and at the new bait and tackle shop next to the south meadow. A California fishing license is also required for anglers age 18 and over. 

Lake Gregory features two dog parks! The first is just east of the Lake Gregory South Shore parking lot and has separate yards for large and small dogs. The other is more wooded and often shadier. It’s located east of the San Moritz Lodge parking lot. Outside of these generous fenced areas, dogs must remain on a leash.

Easy-riding electric bikes are now available at Lake Gregory. Though the lake valley is home to some moderate hills, navigating the area is a breeze with these road and trail-ready e-bikes. Rent at the boathouse, and soon from the new rental location at the San Moritz Lodge meadow.
