Dates: The Shop Small September Sweepstakes begins September 1st, 2023 and ends at 11:59 p.m. on September 30th, 2023. The deadline to submit playing cards to the Crestline Visitor Center is October 15. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, October 17 at the Crestline Chamber Board Meeting.

Eligibility: Entrants must be 18 years of age or older to win prize drawing. One survey/entry per adult. An entry is defined as the following information submitted: a valid email address and/or phone number on a sweepstakes ‘card’ with at least the free center square validated. Entrants may not submit an entry on behalf of another person. All entry information therein becomes the property of the Sponsor. This sweepstakes is open to all legal residents of the United States except where prohibited by law or the following: employees and directors of the Crestline Chamber of Commerce, sweepstakes sponsors and co-sponsors, their affiliates, subsidiaries, representatives, agents, dealers, advertising and promotional agencies, and the families of each. Entrants must be 21 years or older to win the four-pack of tickets to Corks n’ Hops.

Sweepstakes Submissions: No purchase necessary. By agreeing to provide your email address and/or phone number you are giving the Crestline Chamber of Commerce permission to communicate with you regarding this sweepstakes and future promotions, including a monthly E-Newsletter, which may include information on future promotions and local specials. Odds: The odds of winning one of the 15 sweepstakes prizes depends upon number of entries received.

Winner Announcement: Sweepstakes winner will be drawn by random selection on October 17, 2023. Winners need not be present at drawing to win, and will be notified via telephone or email within fourteen (14) days of the drawing.

Winner Responsibilities: Winner will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and/or proof of age. Accepted forms of documentation include a state-issued identification card, valid driver’s license and/or U.S. Passport within fourteen (14) days following notification of the prize by the winner. Failure to provide proof of age will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

Promotion: By entering the Sweepstakes prize drawing, each participant grants the Crestline Chamber of Commerce and its affiliates, if an individual wins a prize hereunder, a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable license and right to use, exhibit, broadcast, display, reproduce, alter, modify, publish, and transmit for this sweepstakes the participant’s photograph, voice, name, hometown, image and likeness in whole or in part, in and in connection with the publicity, advertising, exhibiting, marketing, promotion and exploitation of the business of the Crestline Chamber of Commerce and its affiliates in any manner and in any media without any compensation, consideration or consent. Promotion and announcement of the winner may be made – although is not limited to – through print, broadcast and social media channels. The winner will be required to waive any and all claims against the Sponsors, and their respective affiliates, employees, agents, and representatives for any loss which may occur from participation in the sweepstakes or from the receipt or use of the prize. Non-compliance will result in disqualification and forfeit of prize.

Winner must provide all necessary Federal and State tax-reporting information and proof of proper insurance before receiving prize. All local, state, and federal taxes, and fees apply and are the winner’s sole responsibility. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen prize items once in the winner’s possession. Sweepstakes winner releases sponsor of any liability incurred in connection with acceptance of the prize. No transfer or substitution of prizes allowed. Limitations of Liability: Acceptance of the prize constitutes a release of the Crestline Chamber of Commerce and all affiliated sweepstakes co-sponsors, its agents and employees from all responsibility to the winner. Transportation to, from, and within Crestline is not included in any prize awarded.

General Terms and Conditions: By entering this sweepstakes, each participant agrees to these rules, and the decision of the sponsor will be final. Incomplete entries will not be counted. the Crestline Chamber of Commerce and their affiliate co-sponsors, their employees, affiliates, contractors, and legal advisors are not responsible for and shall not be held liable for: (1) late, lost, misdirected, incorrect, or incomplete entries. (2) any equipment malfunction, such as Internet, network, server, telephone, etc. (3) any injuries, loss, or damage caused or created as a result of the prize, acceptance of the prize, or use of the prize. (4) any printing or typographical errors in any material related in any way to this site. the Crestline Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to cancel this sweepstakes at any time in case of any uncontrollable computer virus, equipment malfunction or other Force Majeure that may corrupt the proper play or administration of the sweepstakes.

COVID-19 Waiver: By taking the survey and entering the prize drawing, entrant acknowledges the following:

1. Winner acknowledges the contagious and potentially lethal nature of the COVID-19 virus and its variants and voluntarily assumes the risk of exposure or infection by COVID-19 while taking part in any voluntary activities associated with prizes offered by the Crestline Chamber of Commerce or its partners.

2. Winner agrees that by taking the survey and thereby entering the prize drawing, any claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of the Crestline Chamber of Commerce and its partners, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after any visit to Crestline are waived.

3. Winner acknowledges and agrees to take appropriate precautions while in Crestline, San Bernardino County, CA, including maintaining vigorous personal hygiene as directed by the prevailing advice of the Centers for Disease Control.

4. Winner acknowledges that the Crestline Chamber of Commerce, its partners, and their respective affiliates, employees, agents, and representatives are not responsible for any expenses incurred should they be quarantined or become ill before, during or after any visit to Crestline, CA.
